Annabelle Rose Forney
Beloved wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend.
August 8, 2003 – October 9, 2025
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Annabelle Rose Forney, who left this world far too soon, at the age of just 22. Annabelle was a bright, beautiful soul— caring, loving, thoughtful, smart, and endlessly silly — someone who brought joy and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit was unlike any other. She was selfless and a model of how kind a soul can truly be.
Annabelle loved deeply and lived fully. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Josmhar, and her love for him was unshakable. She cherished time with her family and friends, always making the people in her life feel special and loved. She had a gift with children and found true happiness in being a nanny and babysitter — Her compassion, patience, and playful spirit made her a natural. She was an extremely hard worker and accomplished anything she would put her mind too.
Annabelle, was passionate about so many things — From her love of Taylor Swift (every song a soundtrack to her soul), to Starbucks, gymnastics, Grimace, traveling, and capturing life’s best moments through her camera lens. She was devoted to Jesus and had given her life to him. She was a member of a women’s church group and pursued getting closer with god daily. She had a flair for fashion, a deep love of food (especially fine-dining restaurants), and a special fondness for birthdays — primarily her own — along with a love Christmas and the holiday season. She loved to paint and anything to do with art. She loved to make letters for those close to her and had a special touch when choosing gifts for those she loved.
She was also a big fan of Marvel, always cheering for the heroes who, like her, led with heart.
Annabelle is survived by her husband Josmhar, her mother Roxanne and stepfather Erik, her Meemaw, her brother Austin, her Auntie, cousins Yaya and Logan, mother in law Reyna, sisters- in law Lindsey and Melanie, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bill, cousins Ari, Amanda, and Alena, and her Grandma Monna. She was preceded in death by her Papaw, cousin Andrew, and Grandpa Kenny — all of whom now welcome her with open arms.
Though her time here was far too short, Annabelle accomplished so much and checked off many of her life goals. She lived with intention, with love, and with joy — and in doing so, she inspired everyone around her.
Annabelle’s beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. We are so blessed to have had her for as long as we did. She was truly one of a kind and she will live on in our hearts forever.

What if the miracle was even getting one moment with you?”
