Dennis C. Rickert, age 84, passed away suddenly on December 6, 2025. U.S. Air Force Veteran (early 1960’s) and Retired State of IL Employee of 28 years, Beloved Husband of Karen J. Rickert (nee Cernuska) for 57 1/2 years of marriage. Loving father of Alyssa, Heather, the late Kenneth, Tamara, and Bettina. Dear Grandfather to Sasha, the late Tyler, Courtney, Hillary, Eric, Caitlin, Jackie, and Hope. Great Grandfather to Xander and Xaya. Dear brother to Penelope Palkoner (nee Rickert) and the late Deanna and Mary. Uncle to Christine, Jeffrey, the late Deborah, Cynthia, Kimberly, Jennifer, Jack, David, Laura, John, Angel, James, and the late Sabrina. His never ending love for his wife and family will never be forgotten. Dad can enjoy all the Pepsi he wants now as he watches his favorite shows of Star Trek, Harry Potter, and Superman from above. His joy and laughter in life put smiles on faces. May the Lord Bless him and Keep him well. Visitation December 20, 2025 from 1PM to 4PM, Interment Private.
