Evelyn Sroka-The person I connected with the most. She was the greatest grandmother anybody could ever ask for. Think about your relationship with your grandmother and understand that it was nothing like that. Not even close! Our relationship was much more deeper and it will forever will be. She was my go to date for the Thursday night midnight show, an avid bingo player, a LRC gaming specialist and her favorite drink was a rum with coke at Selena’s on a Friday night. We went on trips with each other, we laughed with each other, we argued with each other, we cried with each other and I am grateful for every single second I got to spend with this amazing woman. She passed away in mine and Kirby’s arms Friday night taking her last and final breathe while giving her one last hug. RIP Gram! Thanks for sharing all these amazing memories with me which I will share with my grandchildren. Until next time. Love, JoJo

Kathy, Chris and Dennis, please accept my most sincere sympathies at the loss of your Mom, Evelyn. My memories of her and your family go so many years back to the old neighborhood. I remember Evelyn being full of life, wit and always an easy smile both at the drug store and the hospital. I even remember her planning girl's nights out. I am hoping that once again she has the opportunity to trip to the lights fantastic in that great heavenly ballroom. May she rest in peace.

We grew up with this woman. The Evelyn stories Dennis & I have and the times we had. The grey hairs that Dennis, Wally and I put on her head....and she just chugged on and on. So long dear lady.

Kathy, Chris & Dennis my deepest sympathy is extended to you and your families with loosing Evelyn. Our families go sooooooooooo far back, to the old neighborhood, the drug store and the hospital. Evelyn's smiling eyes, feisty character and friendly manner will long be remembered. May she trip to the light fantastic and once again be dancing at the great ballroom in the sky. May she rest in piece.

I have posted here twice not sure what is going on. My deepest sympathies to you Kathie, Chris and Dennis. We go back many years and even generations with your family and your Mom. Evelyn will always remain as a bright eyed, feisty and quick witted neighbor, keeper of the candy and soda at the drug store and always providing a welcoming smile at St. Mary's. I hope her dance card is full at that great ballroom in the sky. [at that her bingo cards are winners] Love Kathie, Tammi and Scott.
