My very and most sincere condolencese to Helen's family, Eugene, Debbie, Denise, etc. It broke my heart to hear that such a wonderful person will no longer be with us. We worked at the County clinics together, and despite being in the Reserves, she always respected whoever was in charge of the clinic. She was an excellent worker and team-player. The stories she would mention, regarding her training with the Reserves, was impressionable. Regardless of all this, she was a human being, with a warm heart; who never gave up, despite the adversities surrounding her. RIP my dear friend! Go in Peace for you have planted in your children, the goodness of your soul.

Gene, Denise and Debbie, My sincere condolences with the passing your wife, mother. I have known Helen since I joined the Navy Reserves in 1985. We all have so many wonderful memories of serving with her. She was an excellent nurse and Navy Nurse Corps Officer. I was enlisted when we met. I remember all of the mentoring and teaching she did for me as a Corpsman as well as all of the other unit members, including officers. And then I got commissioned as a Navy Nurse. She continued to mentor me then. I know she will surely be missed. Please know that Helen touched so many lives, mine included. Rest in peace Shipmate. Fair winds and following seas my dear friend.
