Dear mother to Kathleen (Mike) O’Brien, Jim (Tammy) Sako, and the late Rosanne and Dan Sako (Christine) (and the late Kimberly)

Loving sister to Ardis, Nancy, and the late Jackie, Donna, Neil, Barbara, Ursula, and Mark. Fun loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Joanne was born August 20th, 1936, in Chicago. She shared her childhood home with her siblings. Married to Bernard for over 60 years, Joanne raised four great kids in a home filled with love, laughter, and many pets. Joanne loved her career and co-workers at Central States Pension Union. She had a passion for gardening, cooking, the lake house in Wisconsin, holiday gatherings, and all the simple moments spent with family and friends. She looked forward to all life had to offer, each and every day.

Joanne was a wonderful person that touched the lives of many she had come to know over the years. She will be sadly missed, but this void in our hearts will be filled with endless beautiful memories.
