Michael Considine

Date of Death:
Saturday, February 17, 2018

Michael E. Considine, age 74, was surrounded by family on February 17 when he -like Elvis- left the building. Mike - aka "Boss of the World" or "Irish Mike"- was born in Chicago on July 28th, 1943 to Edward and Mary (nee Grace) Considine. He was the oldest of four children: Tom (Athena) Considine, Patrick (Susan) Considine, and Mary Ann Service and fond uncle to Maeva and Brian. He was preceded in death by his parents and his amazing wife Dolores (nee Barnes).
Mike was a 1961 graduate of Notre Dame High School and served in the Navy. He was a life-long music producer and aficionado and managed the Irish band Arranmore. Mike was known for doing "swing-bys" to Superdawg with his cousin and partner-in-crime, Steve Bower. He is also known for throwing 4th of July "blowouts" on Fremont Street and for being the provost of "Mike's summer school". He served as the pirate captain to a crew composed of Steve's many pirate grandchildren. He loved children and they loved him. Mike, the "BGs" will forever miss you; you brought joy to our lives.
