Mike was such a good man. I remember him coming to our house in Chicago about 55 to 60 years ago. He wanted to meet my Dad who was from Rogliano, Italy. Mike would go to Rogliano every year to be with his family there and give out gifts he would pile into his suitcase. My dad (Anthony Gabriele) suggested he meet his niece Maria in Rogliano. He did and what a blessing that was to all of us. Mike became part of our family and brought my cousin Maria to the US. They had two wonderful boys who my Mom and Dad (Uncle Tony and Auntie Eva) and Larry(my brother) and I could enjoy and love so much. What a fateful evening that was that I have never forgotten. Mike impressed me. Everyone loved Mike. (and of course wonderful Maria)

My deepest sympathy to the Marasco family. I had the privilege of working with Mike when we were at Economy. He was a true gentleman & great coworker keeping an eye on everyone & always offering advice. If ever someone was working past coffee break he would let you know & stop you on the spot. He always had great stories & loved to tell them. Many fond memories. God Blees his Soul.

I worked with Mike for many years and he was a great man. He taught me the value of hard work through his incredible work ethic. He was the most respected man on the job sites and treated everyone else with respect as well. I learned Italian swear words and all about his homemade wine. He will be missed but will live on in all of our memories. My sincerest condolences to Mike's family.
